Mobilisation is a critical activity. If not meticulously taken care, it can snowball into being unmanageable leading to failure. It\’s vital in ensuring the programme is aligned with the strategy. A functional programme mobilisation is a much-required bridge between the strategy-developed and the programme delivery.

SIMACES Learning addresses challenges related to skilling in synch with sustainability, stakeholder engagement and management, growth opportunities and the environmental and social impact through customised mobilisation approach. We have large programme management and governance team, and in a short time, we are capable of pulling off ground-level mobilisation.

Maharashtra Skill Development Program (MSDP): Case Study on Mobilisation

The mobilisation activities for this project start a month-and-half before the training dates of the respective circles. A list of potential lead farmers is obtained from local mobilisation agents, including Sarpanch, Gram Sevak, Panchayat Samiti, Circle Development Officer, Agri Assistant, VSTF, MSRLM etc. to facilitate mobilisation. Awareness campaigns through print and TV ads are run, and informative leaflets are distributed and displayed in Grampanchayat offices. In addition to this, videos are also shown to farmers to make them familiar with the programme and motivate them to participate in the training.
